CASE.02 / MARKETPLACE PROTOTYPE
CampusGig.
Interactive frontend prototype
An interactive frontend exploring how students could offer their skills to local businesses.
- Role
- Frontend prototype implementation
- Current state
- Interactive interface using demo data
- Not implemented
- Backend and production marketplace
01 / OVERVIEW
A marketplace concept made interactive.
CampusGig demonstrates the interface for a marketplace where students could offer skills and local businesses could find useful support. The interactive frontend uses demo data to show the product concept and its intended experience.
Current boundary: the backend is not yet implemented, so this is not a production marketplace and its displayed users, ratings, activity, or transactions are not real.
02 / PRODUCT PROBLEM
Connect skills with practical needs.
The intended product direction is to help students turn useful skills into opportunities while giving local businesses a clearer way to find support.
The frontend demonstrates that direction without presenting matching, payments, gigs, or transactions as implemented backend behavior.
03 / IMPLEMENTATION
What the prototype demonstrates.
Implemented frontend
- An interactive marketplace interface
- Student and local-business product flows represented with demo data
- A usable demonstration of the product concept
Still future scope
- Backend services and persistent production data
- Real accounts, gigs, matching, payments, or transactions
- A launched production marketplace
No verified public technology stack is established for CampusGig, so the case study does not add technology labels.
04 / CURRENT STATE
Frontend prototype available.
A live interactive frontend prototype now demonstrates the interface and intended experience using demo data.
The backend is not yet implemented. CampusGig is not a production marketplace, and the prototype does not establish real users, ratings, activity, transactions, adoption, or commercial results.
